Replacing a roof is an uncommon, high-dollar purchase and, as a result, was fairly stressful. I talked with more than five roofing companies, and Covenant Roofing and Construction (Mike Aycock in particular) appeared to be not only technically competent, but also had a level of integrity that I appreciated. The trust I placed in them was well-founded — my roof was replaced on time, the financials were as agreed, all of the “cleanup” type items were done efficiently and with skill, and the customer service was beyond expectations. I don’t anticipate needing another roof anytime soon, but I would highly recommend Covenant and Mike Aycock to anyone looking for a quality contractor.

Two thumbs way up high for Mr. Dean Hutchins. When I called Dean after Hurricane Isaias, he responded super-fast. He came out and put my shingles back down that the wind had lifted. He looked my whole roof over and made sure I didn’t have any damaged shingles. He is very polite and professional. I would recommend him hands down to anyone.

We are very happy with our roof and the quality of the shingles with the nail edge that holds them in place in hot areas like NC. The dumpster was in a place the day before, the two crews showed up by 7:00 am as I was told ,and they were finished by 5:00 pm the same day. All areas of my yard were cleaned up. They even have a high-strength magnet to find nails that may have dropped. I’m grateful that I didn’t use the fly-by-night company that was not licensed in NC state. Covenant Roofing and Construction in Raleigh is a great roofer and has been licensed for over twenty years.

Covenant Roofing and Construction was recommended to me by my neighbors after we had a hailstorm roll through the area. I had watched Covenant and their claims rep, Zach Leonard, handle my neighbor’s roof from start to finish and decided to reach out to Zach. Zach handled everything from explaining to the insurance adjusters what needed to be done to ensuring the roof was perfect after it was replaced. The labor was outstanding from the roofers as well. They showed up when they stated they would, and the job was done without hassle and was finished when I was told it would be. Each person I dealt with associated with Covenant was outstanding, and what they said is what they did. I highly recommend Covenant for any roofing needs.

Covenant Roofing and Construction was amazing. Without their dedicated and helpful team, I wouldn’t have a new roof right now. My insurance didn’t want to pay for a full replacement, only a repair, but the folks at Covenant Roofing and Construction helped get my insurance to change their mind. My new roof looks awesome, and Covenant Roofing and Construction also did the interior ceiling water spot damage repairs, which looks great as well. The staff wasn’t pushy at all. They just told me what my options were and what they recommended. Our experience with Covenant Roofing and Construction was nothing less than exemplary! We contacted them for roof replacement after strong recommendations from others in the business community. We contacted Travis Hull in Carrboro, NC who represents Covenant Roofing. Travis worked with us from beginning to end during the entire process and made the journey through the repair quite bearable considering the magnitude of the repairs. Travis always made himself available to us, even on weekends and sometimes late evening. He is quite pleasant, honest, dependable and very easy to work with. Covenant’s staff and work crew were all hardworking, polite and more than efficient. We were exceptionally pleased with all aspects of the work performed. We had our roof damaged in a hailstorm a little over a year ago. We knew that we likely had some damage but really didn’t know how to go about finding a contractor. While I was ill in January, our consultant, Noah Belavilas, showed up at our door, and I really wasn’t in a position to chat. However, he was persistent and came back several times and offered to do a roof inspection free of charge. Upon doing so, he showed us video of the damage and explained how he could tell that things needed to be replaced. He also walked me and my husband through the process of placing a claim with the insurance company, getting the adjuster out to the house, getting the check from the insurance, and ordering our product. Even after install, he checked in with us to make sure that everything was clean to our satisfaction. He even suggested some upgrades that would help us with the life of the roof that were not covered by insurance, but he was never pushy or demanding. The workers from the company were extremely efficient. They were here when they said they would be and got our roof torn off and put back on in one day. There were other items that needed to be repaired as well (gutters and screens), and there was never any discussion of final payment until everything was done. We couldn’t be happier with the service and product that we received from Covenant Roofing and Construction and would highly recommend them for your roofing needs. They have done several houses in our neighborhood, and I have not heard a complaint about any of the jobs that they have done. It is so refreshing to find such a quality company with such nice people!!

Needed pipe boots fixed after I had a roof leak. They responded quick and had a guy out the next day to get it taken care of. Very professional and timely. I’ll likely contact them again if I ever need more roof work done.

A-1 customer service!!! We had gone with another contractor, and they destroyed our house!!!! We had to find another contractor and was referred to them. Zachary is our rep. He stayed with us through the ENTIRE process. He communicated on every step. We love our house now!!!!! I highly recommend them and ask for Zachary!!!!! If you want great service, seek them!!!!!

My entire experience with Covenant Roofing and Construction was great. Dan Cavanaugh was my salesperson. He was professional and very thorough from beginning to end. He even finished the job by inspecting and doing a final cleanup!

In the spring, we had siding come loose during a windstorm, and I was curious about roof damage. Brian Amador came and inspected our house. Besides the obvious damage to the siding, it was determined that the shingles were discontinued and also sustained significant damage. While at our home, Brian and I called my insurance company and started the ball rolling with a claim. Brian helped and listened to all my questions throughout the process. He also made sure my insurance company did the right thing. Our roof looks so good, and we have received compliments from neighbors. Covenant also took the time to match our existing siding. The siding repairs also look nice.

We worked with Dan Cavanaugh and Tyler Moscov on having our roof replaced this July. We contacted Dan, and he came and inspected our roof. He was very knowledgeable and assisted us in immediately filing a claim with our insurance company. Dan was also there, on a Sunday afternoon, to work with the insurance folks when they came to inspect the roof damage. Tyler scheduled and supervised the roof replacement. Both Dan and Tyler kept us informed throughout the roof replacement process. Overall, these professionals made this major project as painless as possible.

I didn’t know what to think when Chip Hicks showed up at my door saying that my roof may have a problem after storms earlier this summer. Who knows these days? And I work in construction to boot. After we reviewed his inspection, I was stunned. Though my roof was less than 20 years old, the shingles flapped in the wind like butterflies! Chip and his team got me set up with my insurance company, then completed my 3,000-square-foot roof in a day! I was amazed. It looks great and should last almost forever. They did a fantastic job. My contact with the company was Dan Cavenaugh, and he was very professional from the beginning. He inspected the roof, explained all my options and helped me through the entire process. On the day the installation was to begin, Dan was there early to make sure everything was ready to go. Dan contacted me several times that day to make sure everything was going as scheduled. The crew installing the roof was excellent. They arrived on time and completed the work as scheduled. When the crew was done, they cleaned up everything. They ran a magnet over the yard and made sure I had the extra shingles stored. Once the installation was complete, Dan stopped by and ran a magnet over the yard again just to make sure. I was recommended by a friend to talk to Covenant Roofing and Construction after a roofer gave me a poor roof inspection and quote. Brian Amador came out to inspect my home and immediately told me I had major wind damage from a past wind event. He advised me on the process of making the insurance claim. He met with the adjuster and helped with all the insurance paperwork throughout the process. It was a seamless experience. The materials arrived on time, the crew showed up on time, the work and clean-up were done on time, and clean-up was great. The roof looks great, and Brian even stopped by a few times when he was in the area to check it out and see how I was doing, etc. He treated more like a friend than a customer. A few of my neighbors even ended up having Brian assist them with new roofs too. Covenant Roofing and Construction boosted the curb appeal of the whole block!!

Covenant Roofing and Construction was incredible! The service was perfect. Very professional. They were on time, polite, and knew what they were doing. They did not leave anything on the ground for our dog to get hurt on, like nails or trash. The group was quiet. We hardly knew they were there. The whole roof was done in less than a day! We thought the pricing was very fair, and it was easy to complete the paperwork for the insurance company. We had a place in our bonus room that they repaired the sheetrock and painted for us. This was due to the damage of the roof. They were again professional, quick, and quiet. The paint job and their clean-up were perfect! No paint strokes on the wall, and you cannot even tell where the repair was in the sheetrock. Mike Aycock was our sales person, and Tyler scheduled the service. I have now completed two complete roof replacements with Covenant Roofing and Construction (different homes). Jeff was very professional and inspected the roof with an HONEST assessment. I had roofers come ring my doorbell and tell me from the ground that our roof was damaged and I should file an insurance claim. I called Jeff, and he came out with an honest and through inspection. Initially there was not the damage referenced by other contracts. Fast forward a few years- we had some significant hail and windstorms, and I called Jeff for an assessment. This time there was damage, and he helped us through the process, making it painless. In the second scenario, while purchasing a new home, Jeff did a thorough roof inspection and helped identify damage and a recalled shingle.
